Description
FORM 51 Safe Operating Procedure – Bridge Video Supervision
This Safe Operating Procedure on Bridge Video Supervision is a guide designed with the intent of providing a consultative process and detailed and informative instruction for all persons who control or directly influence business practices on the completion and adherence with the requirements as set by Main Roads Western Australia. (Bridge Video Supervision Conditions 2020).
Importantly, workers/drivers are to be trained and understand the Bridge Video Supervision requirements, by ensuring that issued Vehicle Permits are known as a record of an event that will occur. If any Vehicle Permit is received and the Vehicle Permit is not used (job/project was cancelled or deferred), the Scheduler must notify the issuing body of all details and summary explanation of the circumstances to why it did not proceed. The permit details are still required to be inserted into the Bridge Video Surveillance Register for reference purposes and maintained by the Operator/Business.
Within this Safe Operating Procedure, the following points are addressed:
- Permit Application
- Workers/Drivers & Pilot Vehicle Driver Retainment of records & permits
The purchaser can use the document as a guide only and it is suggested that the content be reviewed and amended to meet your operation risks and needs.
