FORM 16 Trailer Service Sheet

This form is to be utilised for the recording of routine maintenance of trailing units through the undertaking of A, B or C Services. All services are to be recorded in each column and all details are to be completed, including observations of other faults or repairs needed.

Next estimated services can be recorded in the sections provided and details added into the Service Scheduling Register (Form 20).
A Services: are to be conducted at intervals as per your discretion and recorded on the Service Scheduling Register (Form 20).
B Services: – are to be conducted at intervals as per your discretion or at a minimum aligned with the manufacturer’s recommendations and recorded on the Service Scheduling Register (Form 20).
C Services (Annual Inspections) – are to be conducted at least annually and are sometimes aligned with a B Service, and are known as a Roadworthy Inspection or Safety (the inspection items exceed the NHVR Heavy Trailer Inspection Checklist Version 1.0 June 2021).
